Erdoğan denies claims of offer to host Venezuela’s Maduro in Türkiye

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Wednesday dismissed claims that Ankara had invited Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to relocate to Türkiye, saying his government had received no such request or communication.

Making comments on latest developments, Erdoğan addressed speculation circulating in international media that Türkiye had offered refuge Maduro. "There is no such information that has reached us," Erdogan said. "We have not received any message or request of this nature."
