Zmbizi Z2: The phone that pays you for using it

The Z2 can accept contactless payments via NFC, meaning it can be used, for example, as a payment terminal for someone running a food truck without additional hardware. This is actually the first phone Visa has teamed up to test its Tap to Phone program in America.

Another important point is that there is not an indication of any kind regarding which processor will be powering the phone. The previous model, Z1, had a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset with eight cores, but according to PC Mag, Z2 will be the American version of the Chinese phone Cubot X50, which houses a Helio P60 processor. Either way, it should be noted that these processors are not particularly high end chipsets, but it should offer enough performance in a general usage, especially for the purpose it is developed for.

Like we said, the main thing with the Zmbizi Z2 is the capacity of accepting payments through credit cards using Google Pay or Apple Pay. The company claims to collaborate with Visa regarding the Visa Tap to Phone app, which is currently being tested in Washington D.C.

For now, these payment features are available only for people whose cards are issued in United States, but Zmbizi seeks to expand to other continents too, primarily Latin America, Carribeans and Africa, places where this phone could have a better chance to find itself a place among smaller companies.
