Venezuela's interim president Delcy Rodriguez began a reorganization of the country's armed forces on Wednesday, appointing 12 senior officers to regional commands, a military leader said via Telegram.

In power since leftist leader Nicolas Maduro was deposed earlier this month, Rodriguez had previously named an intelligence chief to be the new commander of her presidential guard.
