Israeli forces advanced Sunday into the Tal Ahmar area near the village of Ain al-Nouriyah in the northern countryside of Syria's Quneitra province, Syrian state-run Alikhbariah TV reported.
The broadcaster's correspondent said the Israeli force comprised three tanks, 12 military vehicles and more than 10 armored personnel carriers.
No further details were immediately available.
