ASEAN foreign ministers urge US and Iran to push for permanent resolution

ASEAN foreign ministers on Monday urged the United States and Iran to continue negotiations for a permanent end to their conflict, as well as the full and effective implementation of the ceasefire.
The ministers, who met virtually to discuss the war in the Middle East, called for the restoration of safe, unimpeded and continuous transit passage of vessels and aircraft in the Strait of Hormuz.
