The Russian Defence Ministry said on Sunday that its troops had taken control of the village of Khoroshe in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian forces carried out strikes on the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and transport infrastructure facilities, as well as military airfields in Ukraine, Russian news agencies reported, citing the defence ministry.

Reuters could not independently verify the battlefield reports.
