According to CBC News, police officials reported that the hijacked small passenger plane landed at Vancouver International Airport and that one individual on board was taken into custody.
A witness named Paul Heeney told CBC that the plane was circling in the air.
Meanwhile, in a written statement from the airport, it was confirmed that all arrivals and departures were halted for 39 minutes due to the incident.
