Kremlin slams 'Western interference' ahead of Georgia vote

The Kremlin denounced "Western interference" on Friday on the eve of parliamentary elections in Georgia and said Russia was "not influencing and not interfering in Georgian affairs".

"We are seeing absolutely unprecedented attempts at Western interference. They are not only trying to twist Tbilisi's hand, they are attempting to dictate terms," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
