Magnitude 6.0 earthquake strikes near coast of Peru region

According to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), a 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit near the coastline of Peru on Sunday. The quake's epicenter was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles).
