Explosions were heard across the Qatari capital Doha on Monday evening as a military conflict between the US and Iran continued to widen.
Doha-based Al Jazeera television said that the blasts coincided with air defenses intercepting projectiles in the skies over the capital.
The US and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran, killing several top Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as Gulf countries which are home to US assets.
