An explosion was heard near Isfahan nuclear facility and an air force base in central Iran, the country's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Monday evening.
Iranian authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident so far.
The US and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran on Saturday, killing several top Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as regional countries that are home to US assets.
