Ukrainian authorities are calling on the public to save electricity after a fresh rocket attack on a power supply plant on the outskirts of Kyiv.
"Please charge your mobile phones and power banks now, before evening," energy supplier Ukrenerho wrote to its customers on Saturday, also asking that people make dinner earlier than usual, to reduce the amount of power consumed by 11 pm.
The company said this was because power was having to be diverted from high-voltage lines to less powerful lines and that emergency shutdowns would be needed if consumption rose sharply.
