According to news from Palestinian state television, the premature babies, who received long-term treatment and medical care in Egypt, entered the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Border Crossing.
The Gazan babies, who won their struggle for survival, were met with great joy by their families and relatives.
On the other hand, it was stated that some babies were reunited with their families, while family members of others had lost their lives in Israeli attacks.
Due to Israeli attacks, 28 out of the premature babies whose lives were in danger due to lack of electricity and medical supplies at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza in November 2023 had been evacuated to Egypt. During this process, 8 babies lost their lives as a result of incubator malfunctions.
