Israeli forces inflicted extensive damage on main roads in Jenin city, the refugee camp, and neighborhoods to the east of the city. Israeli construction machinery caused severe destruction in these areas, cutting off water, electricity, and communication lines.
On August 28, Israel announced the start of its most intense and comprehensive attacks since the Second Intifada in 2002, named "Summer Camps," targeting refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since August 28, 21 Palestinians, including children and the elderly, have died in Jenin, 8 in Tubas, 7 in Tulkarm, and 3 in Hebron, totaling 39 deaths and 145 injuries.
