In the Selçuk district of Izmir, a two-person plane operated by a private company experienced a crash landing.
Fortunately, the pilot, Emre Özel, and his friend Mete Ergin managed to escape the incident with only minor injuries.
The plane, which had taken off from Selçuk Efes Airport, encountered power failure at approximately 10:00 today.
Due to the windy conditions, the aircraft started to experience instability and ultimately crashed in the vicinity of the former garbage storage area in Pamucak while attempting to land.
Following the accident, rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
Both the pilot, Emre Özel, and his friend Mete Ergin, sustained only minor injuries, and their escape from the incident was fortunate.
