This endeavour exemplifies Türkiye's technological achievements and capabilities, highlighting our nation's capacity to develop and manufacture advanced automotive technologies," Kaçır stressed in his comments.
Kaçır highlighted the importance of low-orbit satellites as a valuable opportunity, and praised the ongoing efforts by various private sector initiatives in Türkiye in this field.
He expressed the government's intention to establish an effective incentive program to support these initiatives and help them create a distinguished national brand in the field of low-orbit satellites.
"We believe that accessing space with our own means is a valuable goal. We are discussing the possibility of joint cooperation with the UAE in a third country to achieve this.
In the coming period, we want Türkiye to become a country that can access space with its own means and also develop and produce hundreds of thousands of micro-satellites in space with its national means.
A few companies in the world have already pioneered in this regard, and we aim to raise the bar and become one of the pioneers," the minister said in a statement while referring to one of the memorandums of understanding they signed with the UAE in the area of access to space.
