The idea behind this transportation medium is that people will be able to move with more convenience across Africa. The design of the airplane also allows it to monitor from the air the situation of the infrastructures following a tragedy, apply pesticides across agricultural fields, and mobilize help in emergency cases.

In a video published by the inventors, it can be observed that the plane has two wings, a small cockpit, and a unique landing gear too. Furthermore, it is a 100% electric vehicle, given that "the solutions for making the world better should not cause damage to the planet", as explains the engineers.

The testing phase of the vehicle's propulsion system development, namely the eVTOL, is still in progress. "Right now, we are working to construct a prototype of Macrobat to be able to exhibit the flying performance of it", states the people behind this ambitious project.
