The footage showed a short display of the air defense system at work as the technical features of the Korkut low-altitude air defense system have also been wondered.
"With the KORKUT Project, the air defense capabilities of the Turkish Armed Forces are strengthened with barreled air defense systems that can also use 35 mm Particulate Ammunition (ATOMTM) in order to be able to effectively defend against different threats," the ASELSAN website explains.
"The Fire Control Radar, which enables precise firing of the target in the KORKUT Weapon System Vehicle (SSA), and the three-dimensional mobile search radar, which detects the targets in the Command Control Vehicle (KKA), have been developed in accordance with tactical needs," it adds.
"This amphibious system greatly increases the power of the Turkish Armed Forces in the field of air defense."
