Costa Rica President: U.S. forces would be beneficial for national security

President Laura Fernández said Friday that U.S. ground operations in Costa Rica would be "very beneficial" for countering domestic crime and drug trafficking, but clarified that no concrete plans exist and any deployment requires congressional approval.
