French President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday he supported the adoption of new European sanctions against Russia after a recent attempted drone attack in Leipzig that was attributed to Russia by German authorities.
"We must be united in support to Ukraine, France will continue to play its full part," he said in a post on X.
