French President Emmanuel Macron said ⁠on ⁠Wednesday that Norway had agreed to ⁠join its nuclear umbrella, becoming the latest country to receive France's nuclear protection ⁠amid ⁠European concerns over U.S. commitment to security in the region.

In March, ⁠France offered to extend the protection of its nuclear umbrella ⁠to ‌other ‌European countries.
