NATO on Wednesday praised Turkish paratroopers, saying "height is not a limit" for the commandos.
In a post on US social media company X, NATO shared a photo showing Turkish paratroopers jumping from a CN-235 transport aircraft bearing the Turkish flag.
"Fear stays on the ground, courage rises in the sky. Height is not a limit for the Turkish paratroopers. It's where freedom begins," the alliance said.
The Turkish capital, Ankara, is hosting the 2026 NATO summit on July 7–8.
