French President Emmanuel Macron denounced on Thursday Washington's criticism for not getting help on Iran, stressing that it is not their operation.
"They (the US and Israel) can afterwards complain that they are not being helped in this operation they decided on their own, it is not our operation," Macron told reporters during his visit to South Korea.
He also noted that a military operation to "liberate" the Strait of Hormuz would be "unrealistic."
Macron also responded to Trump's remarks about his marriage, stressing they were "neither elegant nor up to standard."
"I will not respond; it does not deserve a reply," he added.
