China urges immediate ceasefire after US, Israel strike Iran
In response to the massive joint U.S.-Israeli military campaign launched against Iran, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday expressing "deep concerns" over the rapidly deteriorating situation.

China's ministry of foreign affairs on Saturday expressed deep concerns over the U.S. and Israel's military strikes against Iran, urging an immediate ceasefire.
The ministry said Iran's national sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity should be respected, and urged all sides to avoid further escalation of tensions, and to resume dialogue and negotiations.
