Death toll in Philippines landfill collapse climbs to 35

The death toll from a landfill collapse in the Philippines rose to 35, with one person missing, on Saturday, according to ABS-CBN News.
Three bodies were recovered on Saturday, as the search operations continued.
The accident took place on Jan. 8 at a privately operated landfill facility in Cebu City in the Central Visayas region, where workers were on site at the time.
Friday was observed as a day of mourning for the victims.
A state of calamity was also declared.
