A 6.3-magnitude earthquake shook Mexico City on Friday, the national seismological service confirmed, after a tremor that was felt throughout the Mexican capital.

A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck Guerrero in Mexico on Friday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said.
