Russia's air defense systems repelled drone attacks overnight targeting Moscow, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said early Monday.
"An attack by two drones targeting Moscow has been repelled. Emergency service specialists are working at the site of the fallen debris," Sobyanin said in a statement on Telegram.
Local media reports said that sirens sounded, jamming signals were active and Moscow's airspace experienced widespread disruption.
