An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 has struck western Türkiye, centered in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province.

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Türkiye's western Balıkesir province on Monday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said.
