Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that a major Russian attack on Kyiv showed the need for increased support from his country's allies.

"Our families had a very difficult night. One of the biggest attacks from the very beginning of the war," Zelensky said as he met Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at a Group of Seven summit in Alberta. "It's a big tragedy for us and we need support from our allies."
