India PM Modi says 'pained' by Morocco quake deaths

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is hosting the G20 summit this weekend, expressed sympathy Saturday for the victims of an earthquake in Morocco that killed at least 296 people.
"Extremely pained by the loss of lives due to an earthquake in Morocco," he posted on X, formerly Twitter. "In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with the people of Morocco. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones."
