Turkish, Uzbek defense chiefs discuss security issues
Akar and Kurbanov exchanged views on bilateral, regional defense, security issues and cooperation in the defense industry, according to the Türkiye's National Defense Ministry.

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and his Uzbek counterpart, Bakhodir Kurbanov, discussed bilateral defense issues during a telephone call Thursday.
Akar and Kurbanov also exchanged views on bilateral, regional defense, security issues and cooperation in the defense industry, according to the Türkiye's National Defense Ministry.
The ministers agreed on continuing military education cooperation activities between Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
