Turkish stock exchange up at weekly open
Türkiye's benchmark BIST 100 opened Monday at 11,349.23 points, up 0.34%. The lira stood at 42.70 per US dollar, while gold and Brent crude traded at $4,346.10 per ounce and $61.20 per barrel, respectively.

Türkiye's benchmark stock opened at 11,349.23 points on Monday, rising 0.34% or 37.92 points.
On Friday, the BIST 100 was up 0.69% and closed at 11,311.31 points, with a daily transaction volume of 111 billion liras ($2.61 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 42.7005 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 50.1325 to the euro, and 57.1110 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,346.10, while Brent crude oil traded at $61.20 per barrel.
