2 workers killed in armed attack on vehicle in southeastern Iran
Two mine workers were killed and two others injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan, on Sunday. Police say efforts are underway to track down and arrest the attackers.

Two people were killed Sunday in an armed attack on a vehicle carrying mine workers in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.
Unidentified individuals opened fire on the vehicle, according to Iranian media reports.
The attack left two others injured.
Zahedan's police chief said in a statement that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the attackers.
