Last week, US media had claimed that Kim would visit Russia to negotiate arms deals. It was suggested that the leaders would discuss a plan in which Moscow would provide satellite and nuclear submarine technology to Pyongyang in exchange for North Korea supplying Russia with artillery shells and anti-tank missiles.
