Premature babies evacuated from Gaza reunited with their families after 2 years

In 2023, 8 premature babies, 3 nurses, and their escorts, evacuated from Al-Shifa Hospital under Israeli siege and attack, passed through the Rafah Border Crossing and were transferred to the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis after receiving treatment in Egypt. Families experienced the joy of reunion with tears in their eyes in front of the hospital.

Premature babies evacuated from Gaza reunited with their families after 2 years

Due to Israeli attacks, 28 out of the premature babies whose lives were in danger due to lack of electricity and medical supplies at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza in November 2023 had been evacuated to Egypt. During this process, 8 babies lost their lives as a result of incubator malfunctions.
