Ilkim Kutval, accompanied by her daughter Melina, expressed their delight in participating in the tour, highlighting the comfort and enjoyment of the journey. Similarly, Mehmet Çoban, a traveler from Izmir, praised the journey for its comfort and the opportunity it provided for discovering new cities and landscapes.
Didem Hazıray, traveling with a friend, likened the tour to a voyage through time, expressing her satisfaction with the experience. Helin Gözde Yılmaz, who traveled from Istanbul, shared her long-standing desire for such a journey and encouraged others to experience the unique feeling of traveling by train.
The Mesopotamia Express is scheduled to commence regular services on April 19, with departures from Ankara and Diyarbakır on April 21.
Featuring nine sleeping cars and one dining carriage, each capable of accommodating 180 passengers, the train offers two-person sleeping arrangements with comfortable amenities. The touristic train will make stops of three hours in Kayseri and Malatya, and a four-hour stop in Elazığ, allowing passengers to explore these cities and contribute to the regional economy, particularly in Diyarbakır.
