Following Israel's threats of military action, at least four powerful explosions were heard from central Tehran. Iranian state television confirmed that Israeli strikes targeted several locations in the capital.
Footage from the attacks showed a residential building in the Mahallati district of northeastern Tehran being hit.
The building sustained severe damage, as seen in the footage.
Iranian media also reported that another civilian building in the northern Tehran neighborhood of Kamraniye was targeted.
State television further announced that Israel had struck the Natanz Nuclear Facility in Iran's Isfahan province.
