The Essen Central Mosque, constructed over a decade by the Religious Affairs Turkish-Islamic Union (DITIB) in Essen, Germany, has been officially opened for worship with prayers.

The inauguration ceremony of the mosque, which was built on an area of 3,500-square-meter site following its purchase and conversion from a factory, boasting a worship area spanning 1,600 square meters, commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
