"We have completed the second-round presidential election with the favour of our nation," Erdoğan said, expressing his gratitude to the people of Türkiye.
"I would like to thank each and every member of our nation who once again conveyed to us the responsibility for governing the country for the next five years," he added.
Sunday's election results have shown once again that "no one can covet the gains of Türkiye", Erdoğan said, adding: "No one can look down on our nation, insult our people. It cannot drag our young people into their own abysmal darkness. No one can point a finger at Türkiye."
