As part of ongoing search operations following the fall of the Ba'ath regime, mass graves have been uncovered across the country.
The grave site in the Baghdad Bridge area is thought to contain the bodies of individuals who died due to the harsh conditions and torture in various prisons, including Sednaya Prison.
The images show long, deep pits where bodies were buried in layers, with sacks believed to be labeled with prison codes and the names of the deceased.
The sacks retrieved from the graves were found to be filled with human remains, with eight sacks removed from one of the pits.
