The Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Division of the Turkish Armed Forces takes an active role against the chemical and nuclear threat at the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
The Qatari government demanded that friendly and allied countries contribute to the security of the organization with their elements belonging to the armed forces.
In order to contribute to the Qatar Armed Forces, a Joint Task Force was formed with the participation of Türkiye, as well as the USA, UK, Italy, France, and Pakistan.
