Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that the new terminal building of Ercan Airport will change the face of the island and host wide-bodied aircraft with its increased capabilities.
He also emphasized that the airport has a capacity of 10 million passengers, and the 3,100-meter-long new runway allows for the use of all types of passenger aircraft.
The airport features 9 air bridges and a total of 30 aircraft parking spaces, including 21 open parking spaces. Ercan Airport will draw attention with its capacity of 1,500 cars in the closed parking area and state-of-the-art facilities.
