What started as a hobby during the COVID-19 pandemic soon became a passion, leading Aslan to open two workshops in Istanbul and Tekirdağ to display his works and introduce the art to younger generations.
Aslan's latest creation, a wooden artwork combining the Turkish Baroque style with the swan motif, took three months to complete.
The artwork, made from natural-colored, unpainted, and exotic hardwoods, will be featured in the "Aşkın On Bir Hali" themed exhibition titled "Kökü Mazide Olan Atiyiz" in Ankara.
Aslan emphasized the cultural significance of the Turkish Baroque style, which combines elements of Ottoman and Italian Baroque art.
