Yazar said, "After I let my animals graze in the pasture area, they would feed on their own. Then, I would study under the shade of a rock. I studied hard under these conditions. There are no tutoring centers or private courses in Arıcak. Seeing this life, this difficulty, my only option was to study hard. That's why I worked very diligently."
Yazar emphasized that his goal was to become a successful neurosurgeon in the future by working hard.
"My son always helps me."
His father, Yücel Yazar also expressed that his son was a very determined and successful child, always helping him. He acknowledged the significant contribution of his son's teachers to his achievements. He said, "We live in a limited region, and our income is also limited. As my work is on the plateau, my son always helps me. He does all the tasks I do, including shepherding. During the summer months, we are mostly in nature. He continued his education under these conditions. As parents, the greatest happiness in life is the health and success of our child. We are aware of the power of education. It's a different feeling, a different happiness. I wish everyone could experience this happiness."
Arıcak Middle School Principal, Adil Yıldırım, said that in the last 10 practice exams taken by the students, Muhammet Halil Yazar had answered all the questions correctly in 8 of them.
Yıldırım, who expressed that they had never left their student alone, also said, "Halil studied a lot. He completed all the available study resources. We also provided him with the missing ones somehow. During this process, he helped his family on the plateau. Whenever Halil got hold of a tablet or phone, he would immediately look up more books."
"We always followed and supported him throughout his process."
District National Education Director Fethi Kılınç also stated that achieving such success under challenging conditions was significant. He mentioned that they had constantly followed and supported Halil throughout the process.
Kılınç also said, "We visit our students from time to time. When we came to visit Halil, I noticed that he was walking around with a book while shepherding. I highly appreciated the level of dedication and hard work the child would put in. We constantly followed his progress. Our teacher colleagues also conducted a lot of practice exams for him."
