Huawei launches "XMAGE Global Photography" exhibit in Istanbul

Huawei, celebrating its 12 years of experience in mobile photography and global cultural diversity, presented the 'XMAGE Global Photography Exhibition' at Divan Kuruçeşme in Istanbul. The exhibition, with the theme 'A World That Warms the Heart,' features over 300 works selected from more than 4 million photos sent from 170 countries, all captured with the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. At the opening, attended by photography enthusiasts, influencers, and industry leaders, the Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Istanbul, Shang Jian, stated that Türkiye and China are two important countries with thousands of years of cultural heritage. He mentioned that the Silk Road, which passed through the Ottoman Empire, was the main trade route connecting China to Europe, fostering cultural exchange between Turkish and Chinese people. Jian noted that the exhibition carries a special mission for cultural interaction between Türkiye and China. He said, 'The 300-plus works selected by the curator convey the warmth and beauty of different cultures around the world. Photography has become the universal language of people, and smartphones are playing an increasingly important role in redefining how people express what they see daily.' Huawei Consumer Electronics Group Marketing and Sales Head Louis Lu, recalling his first visit to Istanbul 16 years ago, expressed admiration for the city's landscapes, people, and nature. He said, 'We truly believe that technological innovation should add more social and societal value to the world. This is our vision. Not only technology, but also building a more connected, smart, and heartwarming world.' Lu emphasized that Türkiye is one of Huawei's most important strategic markets, with the brand's image improving significantly in the past three years. Huawei Consumer Electronics Group Türkiye CEO Wan Fei highlighted that 'XMAGE' has become one of the largest mobile photography exhibitions in the world. He said, 'We always believe that with mobile photography, we can create a more heartwarming world. Through this exhibition, we want to show you different worlds. XMAGE is not just an exhibition; it also demonstrates Huawei's leadership in mobile photography, showcasing incredible artworks from around the world.'
