Erdoğan visits Anıtkabir after ceremony at parliament

President Erdoğan visited Anıtkabir after the swearing-in ceremony at the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. Laying a wreath on Atatürk's mausoleum, Erdoğan sang the National Anthem. Then, going to the Misak-ı Milli Tower and signing the Anıtkabir Special Book, President Erdoğan read the text he wrote in the book. 'Dear Atatürk, Türkiye has concluded yet another election process with a record turnout that will set an example to the whole world, in the atmosphere of a democracy feast.' 'Our nation, which determined the 28th term deputies to serve in the Turkish Grand National Assembly on May 14, showed great favor to us with 52.18 percent of the votes in the second round of the Presidential election held on May 28.' 'Thankfully, we will experience the happiness of serving our country and our noble nation for another 5 years. We believe that these elections, in which the presidential government system also received a vote of confidence, opened the doors of a new era for our nation.For the next 5 years, we will continue to work hard to realize our vision of the Century of Türkiye.' 'We will quickly heal the wounds of the catastrophe of the century, the 6 February earthquakes, and as we promised, we will bring together our earthquake victims to their new homes as soon as possible.
