TOTAL FLIGHT TIME REACHED 1,080 HOURS
The Bayraktar TB3 UAV has spent a total of 1,080 hours and 14 minutes in the air during its test flights so far. The national UAV has completed 551 sorties in the testing phase and carried out 42 sorties on the TCG Anadolu ship. In a long flight test conducted on December 20, 2023, the national UAV stayed airborne for 32 hours without landing and covered a distance of 5,700 km in the sky.
A FIRST IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD AVIATION
Bayraktar TB3 successfully completed its historic first flight test on November 19, 2024, aboard the TCG Anadolu ship sailing off the coast of Aksaz, Muğla. Subsequent flight tests conducted on November 26, 2024, were also successfully carried out. Thus, the national UAV marked a first in the history of world aviation.
DIRECT HIT WITH SUPERSONIC MISSILE
The Bayraktar TB3 UAV successfully struck sea targets with full accuracy during firing tests on March 25 and March 27, 2025, using the IHA-122 supersonic missile developed by Roketsan. In the test on March 27, the national UAV destroyed a 6x6 meter curtain target with a shot fired below the line-of-sight altitude, while the target was laser-designated by the Bayraktar TB2 in the air. These tests also successfully demonstrated the coordinated mission capability of the two UAVs.
REACHING THE HIGHEST ALTITUDE WITH A DOMESTIC ENGINE
The national UAV Bayraktar TB3 reached an altitude of 36,310 feet on June 25, 2024, at the Baykar Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan, Edirne, using the PD-170 engine, which was domestically developed by TEI, marking another important milestone. The altitude record in our national aviation history belongs to the Bayraktar AKINCI TIHA, also developed indigenously and originally by Baykar, with an altitude of 45,118 feet.
POWERFUL FORCE BEYOND THE SEA
Bayraktar TB3 UAV, with its foldable wing structure and advanced capabilities, will become the leading unmanned aerial vehicle in its class once it enters the inventory. The national UAV will also have beyond line-of-sight communication capability, allowing it to be remotely controlled from very long distances. Thus, by carrying out reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence, and strike missions against overseas targets with its smart munitions, it will provide a multiplier effect in Türkiye's deterrent power.
EXPORT CHAMPION
Baykar, which has carried out all its projects with its own resources since the beginning, has earned 83% of its total revenue from exports since the start of its UAV R&D process in 2003. In 2023, Baykar achieved exports worth 1.8 billion dollars and ranked among the top 10 companies with the highest exports across all sectors in Türkiye. As the largest company in the global unmanned aerial vehicle export market, Baykar continued its global success in 2024 by generating 90% of its revenue from exports and achieving 1.8 billion dollars in exports.

Baykar, recipient of the Export Champions Award, was the export leader in the defense and aviation sectors according to data from the Defense Industry Presidency and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
