After being discharged from the mandatory hospitalization in June, Amanda Bynes, who had an on-and-off relationship with her fiancé Paul Michael and was recently reported to have broken up with him, voluntarily checked into a psychiatric center providing intensive care.
The duration of her stay in the center is uncertain. It is known that the former child star has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and she has also struggled with addiction issues in the past.
Bynes will be undergoing mental treatment for the third time this year, as she had previously sought help at two different centers. In 2018, Amanda Bynes had claimed to have pulled herself together and expressed her desire to return to acting.
However, she later changed her mind and enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, stating her interest in becoming a manicurist and pursuing cosmetic education.
