Flashflood kills 10 in northwestern China
A rain-triggered flash flood in Gansu, China, killed 10 people, injured 23, and trapped tourists in Weiyuan County, prompting rescue efforts.

At least 10 people were killed and 23 others injured after a rain-triggered flash flood struck a tourist destination in northwestern China on Sunday, state news agency Xinhua reported.
The flash flood triggered by sudden heavy rainfall hit Weiyuan county of Dingxi city, Gansu province.
Several tourists camping in the scenic area were also trapped after the flood.
Local public security and rescue departments dispatched rescue teams to the site.
