A helicopter fighting a wildfire in the southeastern South Korean city of Daegu crashed on Sunday, killing the pilot aboard, Yonhap news reported, citing the fire service.
The helicopter went down on a mountain in a northwestern district of Daegu, about 230 kilometers (143 miles) southeast of Seoul, at 3.41 p.m. local time (0641GMT).
